He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur and Loretta Cooney (Fitzgerald); his wife Jeanne Cooney; and his children, James Cooney (Joanne), Patricia Coursault (Robert), Barbara Jacques (Leonard), Kathleen Reichard (Perry), Geraldine Longley and Michael Cooney (late Annemarie). He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren and 8 (with 2 on the way) great grandchildren.
