He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry White Sr. and Elizabeth Scott; and his sisters, Margaret Crenshawn, Bernice Stafford, Henratta White, Dorthia White and Antthonette Black (Patrica Brockington).

He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Mae White (Edwards); his son Tyrell Edwards White; and his siblings, Charles Joseph Statemen, Jacqueline Brooks and Diana Ross. He is also survived by his seven granddaughters, two grandsons and three great grandsons.
