He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sr. Smith and Estelle Smith; his sister Joanne E Kortenhaus (William); and his great-nephew William J. Kortenhaus III. He is survived by: his nieces, Joanne Kortenhaus (JoJo) and Janet (Richard Salmon); his nephew William J. Jr. (Jeanmarie Kortenhaus); and his great-nephews, Timothy (Ashley Kortenhaus) and Brenden Kortenhaus.
