It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lottie Mae James of Neptune, New Jersey, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Sr. Spencer and Lucinda Spencer; her husband Johnny James; and her siblings, Matthew, Percy Jr. and Manning.

She is survived by: her children, Arnold (Fredia), Ralph, Kevin and Bridget; her grandchildren, Stuart (Yolanda), Anthony (Malika), Britney (Michael), Zachary and Ava; her great grandchildren, Chesdin, Cameryn, Sha'Asia, Sha'Kia, Sye'Veonna, Loren, Aleesiah, Marquis, Malik, Amarrah and Michael Jr.; her sisters, Mary Alice Williams of Forestville, MD and Elizabeth Gadson of Sumter, SC; her siblings-in-law, Harriett Williams of Washington, DC, Hazel Green of Bronx, NY, Reverend Harry English of Capital Heights, MD and Robert Young Sr. of Sumter, SC; and her niece Charlene Johnson.
