He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Mae and Leroy Booker; and his brother David Booker. He is survived by: his wife Hazel L. Booker; his brother Clarence Wells; his stepson Aubrey Monroe; his children, Edward B. Booker (Toi Booker) and Melissa L. Jenkins (Lester Jenkins); his grandchildren, Shyniece Booker-Meacham, Jayhahn Booker, Leah Roundtree, Jada Jenkins, Daja Owens and Elijah Spikes; his aunt Sarah Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Betty Monroe, Charlie Cotton (Elsie) and James Gillespie (Cookie); and his cousin Carletha Robinson. He is also survived by son) and a host of nieces and nephews.
