He is survived by: his parent Hazel Johnson (Minerd); his wife Jane Johnson (Hoist); his daughters, Denise Barone (Richard) of Wilmington, Karen Dempsey (Edward) and South; his grandson Eddie Dempsey; his niece Patricia Sheckells (Johnson) of Lilburn; his siblings-in-law, Frank Hoist Allison (Ann) and Joan Derr (Fredrick) of Blackwood; and his nephews, Christopher Derr (Karen) of Lindenwold and Jeffrey Derr.
