It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan C. Rears of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Connor and Mary Connor; her sons, Dennis G. Rears (Xiaofeng) and Thomas M. Rears; and her siblings, Bette Lewis and Andrew Connor.

She is survived by: her former husband Joseph T. Rears; her husband Pine Barons Barbershop Chorus; and her children, Susan Paolini, Joseph P. Rears (Page), Mary Strine (Kenneth) and George A. Rears (Monica). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Susan G. Komen Foundation - (breast cancer foundation - https://www.komen.org).
