It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rafael Serrano Sr. of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, who passed away on April 21, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Agapito Serrano and Mercedes Serrano (Lugo). He is survived by: his wife Lydia Serrano (Morales); his children, Rafael Serrano, Jr., Eric Serrano, Hector Serrano, David Serrano and Lourdes Serrano-Calderon (Elmer); his grandchildren, Eric Jr., Jessica, Erica, Vanessa, Benjamin, Christopher, Joshua, Janine and Raquel; and his great grandchildren, Videl, Azalea, Joel, Janiyah, Jiannah and Jayden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Rafael's honor, to assist Camden's youth, to lucyoutreach.org.
