He was predeceased by: his parents, Flaviano Chavez and Maria Chavez. He is survived by: his wife Consuelo "Conching" Chavez; his children, Rey Chavez, Nancy Bernardo, Leandro Chavez, Roland Chavez, Grace Ty, Christina Fernandez and Marye Mikula; his sister Nenette Garcia; his grandchildren, Christian Chavez, Valerie Chavez, Mary Anne Reyes, Ivan Bernardo, Joshua Chavez, Katrina Chavez, Kadmiel Chavez, Nicky Ty, Vanessa Ty, Sofia Ty, Branden Fernandez, Jessica Fernandez, Samantha Fernandez and Naya Mikula; and his great grandchildren, Maddy Reyes and Cyler Bernardo. He is also survived by his wife and seven (7) married children, 14 grandchildren and two (2) great-grandchildren.
He was a devout Catholic, who emulated the virtues of charity, fortitude, justice, temperance and prudence, until he breathed his last.
