He is survived by: his daughters, Shyama Fernando (Bill Wittman) and Danielle Fernando (Bryan Smith); his siblings, Malini Jayawardene, Norma Silva, Neliya Silva, Shyama Wijewardene and Neville Fernando; his grandchildren, Olivia and Carter Wittman; and also Barbara Fernando. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
