Catherine Morong Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Morong (Morristown, New Jersey), who passed away on November 19, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ayres and Agnes Ayres; her sister-in-law Joan Ayres; her former husband Donald Morong Sr.; and her siblings, Robert Ayres Jr., Doris Arteglier, Agnes Nelson (Honey) and Joan Einloth.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Bill McSweeney (Greg Simms); her children, Donald A. Morong Jr. (Cory), Patricia Simms (Greg) of Morris Township, NJ and Jane McSweeney (Bill) of Glorieta, NM; her grandchildren, Gregory John Simms Jr., Steven Michael Simms (Alison Brophy), William John McSweeney Jr. (Emily), Catherine Marie McSweeney and Kimberly Ann Rambow (Ted); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Rambow, Astrid McSweeney and Baby Boy Simms; her sister Margaret Boehs (John); and her brothers-in-law, Charles Arteglier and Frank Einloth. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, school mates and life-long friends.
