He was predeceased by: his wife Deepa Sharma; and his siblings, Sarojini Sharma and Subhashini Mishra. He is survived by: his children, Shelly Sharma of Towaco and Saagar Sharma of Towaco; and his siblings, Jyoti Swarup Sharma, Man Mohan Swarup, Sudha Dixit and Archana Dixit.
