She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Ospina and Amalia Ospina (Andrade); and her husband Salvador. She is survived by: her son Daniel (Lynn) of Monroe Township; and her grandsons, Andrew and Aidan.

In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Amalia's memory may be made to St. Jude's (https://stjude.org) Children's Research Hospital.
