She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Birdsong and Idella Birdsong; and her brother Robert Birdsong (Janice). She is survived by: her wife Johanna Passanante; her stepchildren, Cindy Walton (Dale), Bart Passanante (Patricia) and Douglass Passanante (Christine); her grandchildren, Michael Newborg, Nicholas Newborg, Gianna Newborg, Trent Newborg, Scarlett Passanante, Nicholas Di Pasquale and Dominic Passanante; her great grandchild Angelo Newborg; and her cousins, Mary and Ron Hartz.
