She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel David Townsend; her parents, Fred Stirman, Sr. and Eula Faye Stirman; and her siblings, Fred Stirman, Jr. (late Gladine), Beth Gipson (John) and Loma Howard (Dean).
She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Pepper (Philip), Patricia Townsend and Mary D'Alessandro (Patrick); and her grandchildren, Sam Pepper, Kara D'Alessandro and Jake D'Alessandro.
