She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Merrick and Katherine Merrick (Busteed); and her siblings, Eileen Hunter, Robert Merrick and Alice Musheno.

She is survived by: her husband John S. Borawski; her children, Richard Borawski (Ramona) of Easton, PA, Randy Borawski (Cathy) of Dunellen and Lori Tomaszfski (Joseph) of Lancaster, PA.; and her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Ostrander of Haskell, NJ.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
