She was predeceased by: her father Rafael Angel Blando Severino; and her son Italo J. Dixon. She is survived by: her mother Alicia Duran Jimenez; her daughters, Alice Soto (Randall) of Heredia and Costa Rica (Julissa Torres); her siblings, Rafael Blando, Carmen Blando and Geannina Blando; and her grandchildren, Maria Fernanda Obando, Ezekiel Hernandez, Emanuel Hernandez and Julianna Torres. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
