He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Syslo and Catherine Syslo; his wife Hedwig (Hattie); his daughter Barbara Syslo; his brother Robert Syslo; and his son-in-law Scott Douglas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Douglas of Sayreville, NJ and Janice Meyers; his grandchildren, Thomas (Melissa Meyers), Timothy Meyers (Ashley Branagan), Kelly (Brian Radvansky), Jeff, Megan Douglas, Eric (Katelyn Douglas) and Erin Douglas of Sayreville, NJ; his great grandchildren, Christian, Charlotte, Madeline, Benjamin, Evan, Lorelai and MacKenzie; and his friend Jean Lowicki. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
