He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGill and Lillian McGill; his grandsons, Brendan and Colin; and his siblings, Kathleen McGill and Daniel McGill.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie McGill; his children, Michael (Kelly McGill), James (Laurie McGill) and Kathryn (Shaun Egan); and his grandchildren, Melissa, Zachary, Tyler and Hannah.
