She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Zero and Marion Zero; her husband Louis Valenta, Sr. (Lou); her brothers, Anthony and Domenick Zero; and her son-in-law Robert Burger.

She is survived by: her children, Louis Valenta (Maria), Victoria Burger and David Valenta (Sun Ju); her granddaughters, Alexandra, Noelle, Adrianna, Elizabeth, Jenna and Ava; and her sister-in-law Marie Zero. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable contributions be made in Doris' memory to the ASPCA.
