William O'Toole wrote a sympathy message

“To Nancy, I am devastated to see this notice. Mike and I knew each other since playing ball at Lanning Ave. school on the hot humid but glorious endless summer days of our youth. We connected again playing what else? SOFTBALL for a myriad of teams but the one that perhaps brought us most together and filled us with much joy and excitement: CUZ. He was a special friend, a person we shared not just victorious moments on the diamond but in out time away from the sports My prayers thoughts Will OT”
