He is survived by: his spouse Jean Esperanza Cordero; his children, Ronnie Cordero and Karla Cordero; his stepchildren, Marie Calibuso, Nelizza Calibuso and Imee U. Calibuso; his grandchildren, Gavin Xander Yasin, Gabriel Hasan Yasin and Asher Blaise Labrador; and his siblings, Carlos F. Bonilla, Norma Cordero, Ralph Cordero, Miriam Cordero-Ramos and Lucy Cordero-Trias.
