It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis G. Van Leeuwen of Little Falls, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on November 11, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johannes Leeuwen and Petronella Van Leeuwen (Maas). He is survived by: his children, Kristen (Paul Crouchelli) and Craig (Linda); the mother of his children Elizabeth "Dee" Van Leeuwen; his granddaughters, Julia Van Leeuwen and Addisyn Crouchelli; his siblings, Marie Ryan, Mieke Maslanek, John (Teri) and Richard "Dutch" (Joanne); and his pet Mandie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“Kristen & Craig, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of your Dad’s passing. I had no idea he was sick. It has been almost a year since I last saw him. He was always so good to me. He even included me in his daily bagel runs for 15 years! What I will remember most was not only how proud he was of you both, but the look of pure joy on his face when he talked about your children. I am so sorry that I won’t be able to attend his service. My thoughts will be there. May he rest in peace. Barb Dunn”
