She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Houwen and Ann T. (Collins); and her brothers, John, Michael and James.
She is survived by: her husband Richard; her sons, Casey and Sean; and her sisters, Patricia Allsebrook, Karen Adams (Jay) and Susan Bompadre (Richard). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nephews and a grandniece.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul or a favorite charity in Maria's name.
