It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Robert Simons of Irvington, New Jersey, who passed away on May 17, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Mary; and his brothers, Walter and Jack. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Joseph and Patricia Lynn of The Villages, FL; his wife Lil; his children, Matt Simons (Pat) of Galloway, NJ and Ann Marie (Steve) of Pompton Plains, NJ; his grandchildren, Joe Simons (Anna), Kathleen Simons, Maureen Martin (Dan), Danielle Contaldi and Stephanie Contaldi; and his great grandchildren, Emma Simons, Elizabeth Simons, Daniel Martin and Sean Martin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
