He was predeceased by: his parents, Vito Abarno and Constance Abarno; and his brother Joseph Abarno. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Abarno (Pucci); his children, Debra Bruno (Michael Bruno Sr.) and Anthony Abarno Jr. (Bobbi Dorio); and his grandchildren, Samantha (John), Kaitlin of Michael, AJ, Joseph and Francesca.
