He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Herring and Florence Herring. He is survived by: his wife Carol Herring; his children, Gary Herring (Gina) of Old Tappan, NJ, Nancy Relin (Dan) of Lititz, PA and Scott Herring (Danielle) of Tuxedo Park, NY; and his grandchildren, Jessica Herring, Michelle Relin, Jamie Relin, Josh Relin and Noah Herring Sandy.
