He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Margolis. He is survived by: his wife Jill Margolis; his children, Alyssa (Evan) and Matthew; his brother Alan Margolis (Felice); and his mother Shirley Margolis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in memory of Rick.
