She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; and her daughter Laura. She is survived by: her daughter Arlene Nelson (Gerard Nelson); her grandchildren, Christina Nelson, Diana Doolittle, Michael Nelson and Daniel Nelson; and her sisters, Yolanda Gabriel and Diana Laspisa. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made in Lena's name to the St Jude's Children's Hospital.
