He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Kelly and Catherine Kelly (Feeney); and his siblings, Gloria, Marianne, Eileen, Andrew and Deacon Jim Kelly.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen M. Kelly (Lynch); his children, Marianne Quinn (Andrew) of Hazlet, Colleen Facendo (Doug) of Hazlet, Michelle Legotte (Richard) of Hazlet and Kevin Kelly (Danya) of Hazlet; and his grandchildren, Megan Quinn-Surdi (Russ Surdi), Douglas Facendo, Kayla Quinn, Gabriella Facendo, Kane Kelly and Sienna Kelly.
