She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph B. Ostrowski; her parents, William Hartman and Lorena Hartman; and her brother Robert Hartman. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Ostrowski (Debbie) and Judy Pastuzyn (Chris); her grandchildren, Morgan Moore Garrett (Sabrina) and Elizabeth Ostrowski; and her siblings, Joyce Patterson (Danny), William Hartman Jr. (Jane) and Carol Liotti (Gary). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Heart Association or the ASPCA in care of the funeral home, in loving memory of Joan.
