He is survived by: his wife Maria Miranda; his sons, Pedro, Antonio, Raul and Ricardo Miranda; and his siblings, Maria Joao, Albertina Alves, Luis and Albino Miranda. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
