He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Catherine Sweeney (Kelly); and his siblings, James Sweeney, Kathryn Sweeney and Patricia Celentano.
He is survived by: his friend Pick-It; his wife Susann Mary Sweeney (Waranis); his children, William Alexander Sweeney (Marianne), Madeline Kathleen (Michael Sorgenti) and Kimberly Ann Thoms; his grandchildren, Samantha, Gavin Sweeney and Michael Sorgenti; his great-nephew Vincent Timian; his great-niece Ava Timian; his sisters, Marianne Sweeney and Theresa Sweeney; and his siblings-in-law, Giuseppe Celentano and Mary Waranis Soran (Kelly). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.
