He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Rostron Sr. and Betty Rostron. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Rostron (Hummel); his daughter Amy M. Cuccia; his son-in-law Christopher; his son Brian Robert Rostron; his daughter-in-law Jenny; his granddaughters, Emma, Madelyn Cuccia and Edie Rostron; and his sisters, Linda (Anthony D'Errico), Judy (Donald Smith) and Susan (Fred Carella).

In lieu of flowers contributions in Robert's name would be appreciated to any local youth soccer organization.

“I played soccer with Bobby on an Allstar team that played against a visiting team from Ireland. I got to know him pretty well during that time; we had played for different high schools, so we only met previously when our schools competed against each other. We stayed friends over the years and it is a shock to hear of his passing. Bobby was a great soccer and an even better person. He will be remembered and missed by all those who knew him. My prayers are with his family. Tom Stout NDHS 1964”
