She was predeceased by: her parents, Simeon Smereka and Martha Zacharkow Smereka; her siblings, Basil Smereka, Anna Smereka Matechak, Mary Smereka Zacharkiw and Olga Smereka Dillon Mathews; and her niece Mary Dillon.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Martha Matechak, Olga Zacharkiw Garey (Robert), Ann Dillon Tannous (Alan), Dr. Sharon Dillon-Mastafiak (David), Stephen Zacharkiw and Dr. Thomas Mathews. She is also survived by several grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.
