It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce R. Magazu of Gibbstown, New Jersey, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Rouan and Jeanette Rouan (Bingham); her husband Frank Joseph Magazu; her grandson Vincent Morgan; and her siblings, Loretta Kelley and Jack Rouan.

She is survived by: her children, Sarah (Jeff Billig), Daniel (Brenda Magazu), David Magazu (Gina) and Joe Morgan; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Phil Caiazzo, Todd, Samantha Billig, Brian, Nicole Billig, Angelica, Jim Ternyila, Danielle, Shawn Neal of Frankie Magazu, D. J, Jordan Magazu, Tara Schwebel, Thomas, Melissa Schwebel, Joe and Kate Morgan; her great grandchildren, Philip, Gabrielle Caiazzo, Madelyn Billig, Alyssa Augerinos, Jacob Billig, Reese Neal, Gianna Martel, Kingston Heenan, Sullivan, Savina Schwebel, Brianna, Joey and Layla Morgan; her sister Jean Bates (Bob); her sisters-in-law, Dolores DuBeau, Joann Damminger and Kay Magazu; and her pet Ping Pong.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyce's memory to ALSAC / St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

“Hi family of Joyce. I am a cousin of Joyces but unfortunately never got to know you. I'm the Virginia representative of the Bingham group, my Mother was Joyce's aunt (Rachel Bingham Thornburg, and I am the only daughter of Hubert Thornburg and Rachel Bingham. Im Lynn Thornburg Shepherd I visited Joyce and Jean and their Mom (Jeanette) a long time ago in Camden, NJ, when I was around 10 or 12..before Frank & Joyce were married! Had hoped to visit but life got in the way. So very sorry..”
