It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George R Donick (Garwood, New Jersey), who passed away on February 26, 2020, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Dzvonicsok and Mary Staryak; his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Michael, John, Andrew and Maryann.

He is survived by: his brother Paul E. Donick of Escondidto California; his nephews, James Donick, Dr. Mark Donick, Michael G. Donick and Jonathan G. Croman; and his niece Anne Donick. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews as well as great great nieces and nephews.

“I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my "Uncle George". He and his wife Marge were my godparents. They lived next door to my parents on Miner Terrace in Linden when I was born. My parents would often shame me into behaving myself when they would ask me, "What would Uncle George and Auntie Marge say if they knew you did this?", after I would misbehave. And it worked well, as I had tremendous respect for them. May they rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon them.........”
