He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Ciesla and Esther Ciesla (Kino); and his brothers, Theodore and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Linda McIntyre (Joe) of Stockton, NJ, Richard M. Ciesla (Jennifer) of Englewood, FL and Laurie Sedlak (Lance) of Denver, NC; his grandchildren, Joe, Amanda, Erin, Dana, Mackenzie, Brian and Kimberly; and his great grandchildren, Christopher, James, Charlotte, Eloise, JoJo, Audrey and Vivienne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (https://give2.chop.edu) as several of his grand and great-grandchildren who received life-changing care there.
