He was predeceased by: his parents, Oskar Alfred and Johanna Margaret Karlsson (Nichols); his former wife Lisa Charlotte M. Karlson; and his sisters, Lillie Johansson and Linnea Stromberg.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Karlson; his daughters, Dawn Larsen of Stanfordville, NY, Yvonne Karlson of New Windsor, NY and Lisa Karlson-Priore; his son-in-law Robert Priore of Cornwall, NY; his son Glen; his daughter-in-law Kristine Karlson of Cornwall, NY; his daughter Sonja; his son-in-law Donald Briggs of New Windsor, NY; and his stepdaughter Kathleen (Michael Pelligra) of Jackson, NJ. He is also survived by twenty three grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
