With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha May Balek of Flemington, New Jersey, who passed away on March 15, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schneider and Anna Schneider (Oakes); her husband Albert Balek; her children, Daniel Balek and Lynne Sharpe; her brother-in-law Richard Balek; and her siblings, Juanita, Anna Elizabeth, Roger, John and Richard Schneider.
She is survived by: her son John (Jacalyn) of Oswego, NY; her siblings, Carol Kleckner (Robert) of Stockton, NJ, Gertrude "Trudy" Alpaugh of Rosemont, NJ, Ida Schneider of Flemington, Alfred "Chip" Schneider of Lambertville, James Schneider of Baptistown, NJ and Robert Schneider (Shirley) of Lambertville, NJ; her sister-in-law Betty Schneider of Lambertville, NJ.; and her cousin Thelma Kentnor. She is also survived by several cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
