He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his siblings, William (Rita), Joan Brunetto and Rose Russo (Matthew); and his nephews, James Villane and Robert Villane.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy, Slugger, Peppy, Patches and Linda Dowd (Joe); and his brother-in-law John Brunetto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in Carl's memory may be made to the Westfield Rescue Squad, New Jersey Association for the Deaf (NJAD), Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, or to the Deutscher Club.
