She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas Brancato; her grandson James; and her sister Lucy Kay. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Brancato (Carla), Nicholas Brancato, Jr., Ronald Brancato (Maria), Rosmaria Ferguson and Darlene Sabol (John); and her sister Frances D'Amico.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Maria to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
