He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joseph S. Cannici; his wife Elizabeth Cannici (Alfieri); his children, John Cannici (Carol), Joanne Cannici and Stephen Cannici; his grandchildren, Samantha, Kristal and Brianna; and his siblings, Salvatore Cannici and Josephine Guarria.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to the Mary Ann Collura Memorial Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 753, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410.
