He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hickey and Anita Hickey; and his siblings, Anita and Teddy Hickey. He is survived by: his spouse Lordis Hickey (Calabio); his children, Kathleen Valencia (Rodrigo), Michele Gemin (Alberto) and Amanda Hickey; his grandchildren, Gerard, Andrew Valencia and Lucia Gemin; and his siblings, Joseph, Francis, David, Michael, Danny, Patricia McNamara, Mary Altare and Catherine Harris. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, and 46 nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the family is postponing a memorial service until the summer.
