We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2021, at the age of 89, Edward Garett Vander Sluys of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Vander Sluys; his children, Karen Vander Sluys and Edward Vander Sluys; and his sisters, Florence Deboer and Cora Vander Sluys.

He is survived by: his son Kenneth Vander Sluys (Pamela) of Wyckoff; and his grandchildren, Justin and Lauren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Eastern Christian Children's Retreat, 700 Mountain Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
