It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mihir Basu (Elmwood Park, New Jersey), who passed away on July 6, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Benimadhab Basu and Uma Rani Basu. He is survived by: his wife Tapati Basu; his children, Dr. Soumit Basu and Dr. Sharmila Basu; and his grandchildren, Sorana and Shahana Basu. He is also survived by three brothers, and several nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces.
