He was predeceased by: his son Giovanni; his parents, Manuel Pertuz and Manuela Pertuz; and his sister Juanita. He is survived by: his sons, Jaime and Steven; his wife Marlene; his grandchildren, Matthew, Nicole, Maximo and Sebastian; and his siblings, Enrique, Manolo, Jorge, Magaly, Ramiro, Juancho, Armando, Edgardo and Margarita.
