She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Taylor Dugan and Ethel Burroughs Dugan of East Orange; and her brothers, Fred B. Dugan and Richard T. Dugan. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Phyllis Gill (William) of Charlotte, NC, Nancy Dugan of New York City, William Dugan (Michele) of Brewster, NY, Richard Dugan of New Fairfield, CT and James Dugan of Stamford, CT.; her great-nephews, James Dugan (Suzanne) of Wenham, MA and David Dugan (Stefanie) of Milwaukee, WI; and her great-niece Susan Kleinschmidt (Jeffrey) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by 11 great-great nieces and nephews.
She was active as a camp counselor in New Hampshire during both her high school and college years, which formed the foundation of her interest in teaching.
