He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Schneider and Ida Schneider (Smeltzer); and his siblings, Frank E. Schneider Jr., Charles "Bunny" Schneider, Eleanor Sahaydak and Lorraine Linico.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hewitt Schneider; his daughter Tracy; his son-in-law Richard Maniscalco; his grandchildren, Stephanie Maniscalco, Jessica Maniscalco Pedraza (Frank), Anthony Maniscalco (Amanda) and Jennifer Maniscalco; and his great grandchildren, Kristina, Jackson, Gianna and Giovanni. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to restrictions related to COVID-19, funeral services and interment in Rosemont Cemetery in Rosemont NJ will be private and under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can made to the Amwell Church of the Brethren, 40 Sandbrook Headquarters Rd, Stockton, NJ 08559.
