He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert L. Sr. McKale and Hazelyn E. McKale; and his siblings, Gil McKale Jr., Kathy Beck and Tommy McKale.

He is survived by: his daughter Natasha McKale; his siblings, Rene Cormier and Michael McKale; and also Barbara McKale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
